Borrow a SPOT Messenger
Borrow a SPOT Messenger... free of charge
Visit one of our partner locations listed below to fill out a trip plan and receive a SPOT messenger to borrow during your adventure. A SPOT messenger is a pocket-sized satellite communication device that can be activated in an emergency situation to request a rescue response. SPOT communicates with satellites, so you'll have complete coverage, even without cell service. Upon activation of the SOS function on the device, KVRS will be notified with your present location and we will initiate a response based on review of your trip plan.
The SPOT loaner program is a service provided free of charge. However, the program carries significant costs, and your donations are appreciated to keep it running.
